We are so lucky in Hertfordshire to be surrounded by beautiful wedding venues and incredible wedding suppliers, so I took the plunge and organised my very first styled wedding photo shoot in Autumn 2021! I chose the Brickendonbury Estate just outside Hertford, Hertfordshire for the setting - A stunning Georgian Mansion nestled in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside providing a stunning backdrop with extensive grounds boasting a moat and lots of cute little nooks and crannies to explore.
As a proud member of women's networking group The Mama Hive, I am very lucky to have got to know a very talented bunch of ladies with varying skillsets, so I came up with the shoot idea as a way of bringing them all together to bring my boho and vintage theme to life.
My main inspiration was working in harmony with nature. I made confetti from pressed autumn
leaves and drew upon the colours of autumn for the day. Beautiful soft apricot and cream shades were incorporated in the bouquet and the cocktails, while the semi-naked cake was kept simple with seasonal berries, flowers and eucalyptus. Kate from Daffodils & Rhubarb brought together a collection of earthy brown plus cream-toned stoneware and other accessories to complement the organic-cotton macramé wall hanging.
An outdoor stove with marshmallows for toasting and a horse box bar complete with hay bales, blankets and twinkling festoon lights created a cosy autumnal vibe in the evening.
The model looked incredible in a vintage-inspired dress from Indiebride London and finished off her look with a delicate pearl necklace and matching thread earrings by Georgina S Clark.
